Survive The Slope Materials Tier List (S–C Roles)
Survivability vs gacha/flex — rank how you spend materials, not a fake named catalog.
This Materials Tier List ranks Survive The Slope material roles from S to C so you know when Brick, Ice, gacha pulls, and related spends help a run—and when they are flex. Survive The Slope! (StarBite Bones, promoted with BCH Studios; place 91575878912978) is a physics slope runner: slide, dodge obstacles, protect limb/bone health, earn cash from distance, buy materials, upgrade Legs / Arms / Torso / Head, apply enchantments when available, and chase distance on servers of up to six players.
We do not invent a full named catalog, fake percentages, or made-up material SKUs. The live shop and material gacha can shift after patches such as the September 16, 2026 Items update. Instead, map whatever you see into roles: survivability staples, flexible gacha experiments, and luxury spends. Pair this page with the mechanical Materials guide, the Upgrade Tier List, and the Items Tier List.
How to read these tiers
- S — Materials (or material uses) that keep limbs intact and runs alive; buy before cosmetics and before blind gacha spam.
- A — Strong enablers once you stop dying early: efficient restocks, targeted pulls that fund a planned limb upgrade path.
- B — Situational or playstyle-dependent flex (testing Ice vs Brick feel, niche enchantment prep, mid-account experiments).
- C — Collection, curiosity, and “because the gacha looked cool” spends that do not fix your last fail.
Score every purchase with three questions: Did my last death come from weak survivability? Am I funding a named limb goal (Legs, Arms, Torso, Head)? Or am I gambling for vibes?
Known material context (honest, incomplete)
Community and gameplay impressions (not an official balance sheet):
| Material / system | Role sketch | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Brick | Common survivability / structure-minded spend | Often treated as a reliable workhorse for players funding durability-oriented progress |
| Ice | Specialty / flex material | At least one public gameplay impression suggests Ice can feel weaker for some goals—treat as test-before-stack, not auto-buy |
| Material gacha | Variance engine | Can accelerate a planned build or waste cash that should have gone to limbs |
| Enchantment-related spends | Power/identity layer | Enchantments exist; we will not invent enchantment names—classify by whether they help survival, control, or cosmetics |
If the live UI renames a stack, keep the role logic. Details and shopping habits belong on Materials.
S tier — survivability first
Anything that converts materials into fewer bone/limb wipeouts or a stable platform for longer distance belongs here. In practice that usually means:
- Funding the next limb upgrade that matches your fail (Legs for movement/stability feel, Arms / Torso / Head when those slots are the limiter—map to what the shop actually improves).
- Preferring reliable material sinks (Brick-like staples for many accounts) over lottery pulls when you still shatter mid-slope.
- Saving gacha currency/cash until a survivability floor exists.
S-tier rule: if you cannot finish a medium practice run, stop spinning the material gacha. Open Bone Management and the Upgrade Tier List, then restock materials that feed Durability/Bones and Distance/Speed.
A tier — efficient fuel for a plan
A-tier material play is planned restocking:
- Buying materials that unlock or discount the limb path you already chose.
- Limited gacha attempts aimed at a specific gap (not “open until cool”).
- Holding a buffer so one bad pull does not strand your Legs/Arms/Torso/Head progression.
Cash farmers and hybrid climbers live here after S is stable—see Playstyles. Cross-check spend order with the Shop Planner so materials do not leapfrog limbs forever.
B tier — Ice, experiments, and playstyle flex
B-tier is where Ice and other specialty materials often land until proven:
- You have a survivability floor and want to feel the difference between material lines.
- A creator clip made Ice look interesting, but your own calibration runs are mixed (remember: one gameplay impression called Ice relatively weak—verify on your account).
- You are preparing enchantment experiments without dumping the whole wallet.
Aggressive speed mains may probe B-tier earlier for control feel; safe durability mains should stay in S/A longer. Log results with the Run Checklist so “I think Ice is fine” becomes data.
C tier — gacha tourism and luxury
C-tier material behavior:
- Pulling the material gacha because the animation is fun while limbs are underfunded.
- Stacking novelty materials that do not answer your last obstacle fail.
- Spending into cosmetics-adjacent sinks right after the September 2026 Items hype while Brick/limb basics are empty.
C is allowed for surplus. It is a mistake as a first habit—see Common Mistakes.
Sample material priorities
New racer: Survivability materials → limb upgrades (Legs/Arms/Torso/Head as needed) → light enchantment only if clearly helpful → gacha last → Items cosmetics later.
Mid-account farmer: Keep Brick-like staples topped up → planned gacha only toward a written limb goal → test Ice on short runs before committing → revisit Items only with surplus.
Leaderboard chaser: Materials that protect long attempts and feed Distance/Speed first; ignore flex pulls during a PB block (Leaderboard Tips).
Common material mistakes
- Gacha before limbs — variance before a foundation.
- Ignoring Ice skepticism — stacking a specialty line because it looks premium without a calibration run.
- Materials without a limb plan — full bags, empty Legs/Arms/Torso/Head progress.
- Post-Items panic buying — treating every new shop row as S-tier.
- Letting scripts auto-buy junk — automation can mis-spend after catalog changes (Auto Upgrade; ban risk remains).
How to use this list in a session
- Name last fail in five words.
- Open materials; classify the next buy as S/A/B/C using roles above.
- Confirm the buy feeds a limb or survival goal on Upgrades / Materials.
- If choosing Ice or gacha, run a short test—not a PB hunt.
- Recheck this page after patches on Updates.
No verified public promo codes were confirmed as of September 2026 research—Codes stays empty until StarBite Bones or BCH Studios publish real strings.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about sliding farther, upgrades, and codes.
Is Brick always better than Ice?
Not as a universal law—but Brick is often treated as a reliable survivability workhorse, while at least one gameplay impression suggests Ice can feel weaker. Test on short runs before you stack Ice.
Should I use the material gacha early?
Usually no. Fund limb survivability (Legs, Arms, Torso, Head) and staple materials first; treat gacha as A/B only with a written goal, or C if you are pulling for fun.
Why isn’t every material named here?
Inventing a fake catalog would mislead players when the live shop changes. Use role tiers on this page and the Materials guide for system detail.
How do materials relate to Items and upgrades?
Materials fuel progression; limb upgrades and enchantments spend that fuel; September Items are often cosmetics. See Upgrade Tier List and Items.
